Lincoln, NH Merchants and Parents
Help Exceed Fundraising Goals
and Announce Two Scholarships
Lincoln, NH, January 24, 2005 -- Loon Mountain
Freestyle, Inc. a parent run, non-profit organization based in the
White Mountains of New Hampshire, recently completed an auction
to raise money to help young skiers learn the sport of freestyle
skiing and at the same time contributed to helping the White Mountain

enjoy skiing. Both organizations are successfully run by volunteers
dedicated to the sport of skiing, with support from Loon
Mountain.
"Because of the generosity of many local businesses
and the success of the event, I am happy to announce that Loon Mountain
Freestyle will donate part of the proceeds to the Adaptive Ski School

to join the Freestyle Team," commented Mike Fontaine, President

The Loon Mountain Freestyle Team offers programs
for intermediate and experienced skiers who have a desire to learn
to ski moguls better, do advanced jumps and compete in United States
Ski Association (USSA) sanctioned competitions around the Northeast.
Their goal is to enhance these children's abilities, teach them
safety and, hopefully, have lots of fun. A staff of highly experienced
coaches focuses on developing the team members in multiple freestyle
disciplines, promoting camaraderie, and creating an enjoyable skiing
and athletic atmosphere. It all adds up to a great time on and off
the slopes.
The team is currently soliciting recommendations
for scholarship candidates. Applications and recommendations for
the scholarships should be submitted to the Team's President, Mike
Fontaine.
